"This establishment is a local gem. The placement being connected to the Harpeth Hotel makes it even better, as the vibe is festive year round in my opinion. The decor is cozy, yet modern, and timeless all at once. Christmas time is something special with the decor and festive menu offerings. Everything from the coffee to vast breakfast and lunch menu is fantastic. You will enjoy your time."

"Lovely shop located in the hotel. Parking in garage or a block down....other places reserved for designated businesses...(may get towed) Staff super swell. Lots of pastries, ice cream...espresso really good. They take their caffeine seriously, no drowned sugary drinks here. Will visit again."

"We really enjoyed the Christmas themed space last night. Seating is limited due to it being a coffee shop and this should be expected. The “world’s best cup of coffee” was phenomenal! They did have the best whipped cream we have ever had ! SO GOOD! The kids enjoyed hot chocolate and whipped cream as well! Such a cute little place! Bring your babies they are welcome from 6-9!"

"My first visit to McGavocks for brunch was such a pleasant surprise! Everything looked delicious! Yummy smelling coffees. Beautiful pastries & cookies in the bakery case. I didn’t get to try them but will need to another visit! I did try the Apple pecan pancakes with a side of bacon ! Delicious!!! So very good! My daughter loves their breakfast potatoes & kale salad. I know what a combination right?! Our table enjoyed some other treats pictured below too. It was all delicious! The service was great. Everyone was very courteous. Outside seating is available. The location is downtown Franklin. A wonderful setting! Good walking area before or after you enjoy breakfast or lunch at McGavocks!"

"During Christmas time, this little Coffee Bar turns into “The Worlds Best Cup of Coffee” pop up bar, reminiscent of the movie ‘Elf’. It was easy to find in downtown Franklin. Very small, and decorated adorable for Christmas. The line was long. You order your cocktail at the counter, and find a place to sit. We tried to order food, but they mixed up our order, and we never got it. We had to get a refund per the manager. While waiting for the food that never came, we had cute holiday drinks. They had a good menu of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks for the holiday. The hotel has valet parking in front for $10. If you get it validated in the main bar area it is $5. The lounge and main bar area is at the front when you walk in. They had a musician playing guitar, but it was not holiday music. The Worlds Best Cup of Coffee was around the corner to the right. Lastly, a little niche inside was decorated with the grinch and a Santa sleigh for photo ops. Very cute."

"This is a go-to spot in downtown Franklin. The coffee and drinks are amazing -- as is the menu. The staff is super friendly in a sincere way and the atmosphere is very comfortable. They also have a great little gift section in the corner."
